Catering Cook, Full Time (Bryant University)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Catering Cook at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry or fish for culinary use
• Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times
• Ensure the presentation standards are met with each catering order
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Support special events as needed

• Minimum 2 years related experience in corporate catering, restaurants, hotels or the food service industry
• Excellent knife skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds
• Ability to follow directions accurately and completely
• A positive attitude in challenging situations
