Registered Dietitian, Full Time (Greater New York Area)
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Registered Dietitian in Greater New York Area!
Salary Range $80,000-$90,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with the culinary team to ensure students’ dietary needs are being accommodated and arrange for specially prepared meals, purchase of prepackaged foods or sourcing special requests when the daily menu offerings do not meet their needs
- Conduct one-on-one nutrition counseling and consultations for consumers with special dietary needs; provide individual instruction, utilize informational handouts/booklets, or refer to community resources
- Utilize Genesis software program to nutritionally analyze recipes
- Oversee food/nutrition labeling and allergen regulation for food service operation
- Work cooperatively with food service team to assure conformance to nutrition needs and food allergies/intolerances
- Provide nutrition education/counseling to individuals and groups
- Spread nutrition education and awareness through educational events and other on-campus programming.
- Maintain accurate records and notes on nutrition counseling with students
