USDA Child Nutrition Compliance Manager
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of USDA Compliance Officer for our Education Division. This position requires travel in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Position Overview
The Compliance Manager will assist in preparing an account to be ready to conduct an Administrative Review for one or several different state agencies throughout the summer and the subsequent school year. This position will need to be able to accurately recognize program documentation and identify gaps in submissions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and analyze USDA child nutrition program compliance with all required federal and state rules, regulations, guidance, policies, and procedures
- Monitors, evaluates, analyzes, and follows up on USDA Child nutrition program documentation to ensure all correct items are available to complete all parts of the Administrative Review.
- Prepare all required questionnaires and forms related to Administrative Reviews with the nutrition programs.
- Conduct regular telephone or video conference calls with accounts.
- Provide friendly and effective customer service to assist accounts throughout the review process to ensure timely completion of all areas of review.
- Assist the account with all aspects of the Administrative Review.
- Record detailed notes to aid the account in providing technical assistance to sponsors to aid in their understanding of program requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent work product across all areas of review.
- Work alongside state agency partners to fulfill the needs of each specific contract, which may include regularly scheduled calls, training, and report creation.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned, when appropriate.
