Groundskeeper, Full-Time

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a Groundskeeper at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, OH.

The position plays a crucial role in ensuring the grounds of our Headquarters facilities are meticulously maintained on a daily basis. This position ensures that the safety of our team members and brand standards of AVI Foodsystems are reflected in the facilities we provide.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grounds Inspections: perform daily audits and inspect buildings grounds to ensure standards are being met
• Outdoor Grounds: seasonal duties include lawn care, leaf blowing, snow removal, landscaping, painting, holiday decorating, etc.
• Indoor Facilities: Light bulb changes, light restroom repairs, wall painting, vacuuming, etc.

Routine Tasks:

• Daily outdoor grounds keeping (lawn care, landscaping, snow removal)
• Daily cleaning of the department shop floor
• Perform daily/weekly check lists

• Experience in building and grounds maintenance preferred
• Able to follow written and verbal directions
• Strong willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
• Attention to detail: ensuring work is complete and accurate each and every day
• Proven track record of good attendance
• Valid Driver’s License
