Facilities Maintenance Technician, Full-time
AVI Foodsystems is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, OH. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of facilities and equipment at our AVI Headquarters campus facilities throughout the Warren, OH area. This position supports and ensures the AVI Foodsystems standards within our facilities which support the quality of the products we provide to our customers and clients throughout the country.
This is a full-time position - Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- General repair and maintenance including repair of machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing and electrical wiring.
- Safety Inspections: perform audits and inspect buildings to confirm safety standards and identify potential hazards: prepare repair and/or replacement recommendations
- Perform electrical maintenance to include lighting, switches, outlets, fuses, breakers
- Repair equipment utilizing hand and power tools
- Participate in planning and executing office and building renovations
- Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance
- Responsible areas include corporate office buildings and manufacturing plants
Routine Tasks:
- Electrical troubleshooting, installations and repairs
- Executing preventative maintenance programs
- Routine repairs (e.g., windows, doors, walls, patch & paint, etc.)
- Grounds Maintenance daily
- Assist Department Manager with Maintaining HVAC equipment for proper climate control
