Overnight Retail Food Service Attendant (Aultman Hospital)
AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Hospital is seeking candidate for a Full-Time Over Night Retail Cook/Food Service Attendant. Shift is 5:00 p.m.–3:30 a.m./3-4 days per week. Great starting rate of $18.00/hr. with continual opportunities to make more money. Understanding of basic food safety and experience in a high-volume cafeteria is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Please customers by providing a pleasant dining experience working Independently.
- Prepare hot and/or cold foods, properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
- Cooking with Fryers, Ovens, and Grill Experience
- Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
- Interact with guests in the serving, retail, and dining areas.
- Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests.
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep production consistent to our standards and to set a positive example for the shift team.
- Able to communicate clearly on the IP Phone with hospital staff throughout the shift while maintaining retail needs.
- Need to know Dietary requirements for patients.
- Follow AVI operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, stocking, and merchandising.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
