Environmental Services Floor Tech, Full-time (The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods)
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Environmental Services Floor Tech, Full-time at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, OH. A variety of shifts are available for this position.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in our hospital facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques, environmental services, and custodial responsibilities to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform routine floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
- Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards while performing cleaning duties.
- Sanitize high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of floors to identify areas needing repair or special attention.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations across the facility.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs promptly.
