Job Requirements of Systems Administrator:
Qualifications and Work Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of VMware technologies
- Thorough understanding of enterprise storage systems, EMC preferred
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and greater
- Experience and working knowledge of Linux operating systems and components
- Working knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies
- Knowledge of Load Balancing
- Knowledge of enterprise class web security, web application firewalls, software and patch deployment and enterprise end point protection (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Juniper or Cisco firewalls and network switches (Preferred)
- Knowledge of AWS (EKS, IAM, Networking, ALB, S3, Lambda, Amplify) and cloud technologies and tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD best practices. Experience with these technologies highly preferred.
- Must work well in a team
- Must be willing to learn, multi-task, manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
- 4 year degree (Preferred)
- Any relevant certifications (Preferred)

Systems Administrator
AVI Foodsystems is seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology team at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, Ohio. This is a hybrid position that is required to report into the office 3-days a week.
Position Summary
This is an experienced position within the Systems Administration team. The principal responsibilities of this position are to participate in the ongoing development, implementation and support of critical infrastructure. These systems support both internal and external customers. The incumbent will report to the Director of System Administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage multiple VMware VCenter’s spanning production and DR sites including replication and associated storage systems
- Administer Microsoft/Office 365 environment including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, Defender for Endpoint
- Manage, maintain and build additional Windows and Linux servers when needed along with associated software
- Support Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy, DNS and print services.
- Administration of company’s backup and disaster recovery tools
