HR Recruiting & Training Specialist
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Human Resources Recruiting & Training Specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with management at all levels to identify staffing needs
- Act as a liaison with public organizations, job placement agencies, community groups, colleges and other sources to identify and recruit candidates
- Recruit candidates from various resources, including job fairs, internet job boards, community events, etc.
- Conduct the hiring process to include, but not limited to, pre-screen, interview, reference checks, job offer and onboarding
- Coordinate communication between applicants and hiring managers
- Enter and maintain data in the applicant tracking system
- Introduce training technology to the team and ensure required training is completed by the team
- Create a cadence and culture of training expectations to enhance team member knowledge
- Deliver training presentations, including preparation, facilitation, and evaluation
- Work with leaders to identify trends, gaps and opportunities for learning programs in the field
- Create an environment that promotes teamwork, pride and great service
- Other HR duties and responsibilities as necessary
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration preferred
- Previous recruiting, training and human resources experience
- Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to effectively interact with professionals at all levels, both internal and external
- Assertive, outgoing, professional demeanor
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Must have outstanding verbal, written and most importantly presentation skills
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous and positive image at all times
- Must have high levels of energy and enthusiasm, positive attitude and strong integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel as the position requires covering the assigned region
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication
