Cook 3 (PT - Main)
AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Cook to join our culinary team at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, located at 3400 Spruce Street in University City, Philadelphia, PA. The Cook 3 is responsible for meal preparation, cooking and serving for patients and guests at the hospital.
Part time positions are available; now hiring for all shifts!
Pay begins at $17.57/hour; you will receive $0.50 increase after 6 months of employment and another $0.50 increase after 1 year of employment! - Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hot catering meals
- Preparation of other food items directed by Chef or Manager
- Ability to read and produce basic recipes, with supervision, in accordance with company standards
- Follow all HACCP rules for food production / storage
- Ensure and maintain proper sanitation of the kitchen
- Use of proper portioning and dietary guidelines
- Assist in restocking and clean-up of the kitchen and serving line at the end of the service period
- Check out with shift supervisor 20 minutes prior to leaving each day
- Other duties as required and assigned
