Business Communications Manager
AVI Foodsystems is seeking a positive, strategic, and detail-oriented Business Communications Manager to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact proposals, presentations, and content that drive growth and support thousands of cafés and markets across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
Proposal & Presentation Management
- Lead end-to-end development of proposals, bids, and client presentations—often managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Participate in strategy sessions to define win themes, develop outlines, and establish timelines.
- Ensure content accuracy and consistency through compliance checks and final editing.
Content Development (Writing & Editing)
- Write and edit clear, persuasive content such as executive summaries, technical sections, and case studies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and shape messaging.
- Craft differentiated value propositions tailored to each opportunity.
Visual & Design Strategy
- Advise on visual storytelling strategies that communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Create or direct the development of charts, diagrams, and custom illustrations to support proposals and presentations.
- Maintain and manage branded templates and visual content in alignment with corporate identity.
Partner & Client Communications
- Support partner acquisition, retention, and engagement by positioning AVI’s strengths through strategic messaging.
- Collaborate in a matrixed organization with teams including Sales, Culinary, Operations, and Legal.
Project Leadership & Strategic Execution
- Lead cross-functional projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with AVI’s business development goals.
- Manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities with a proactive, self-driven approach.
Content Library & Process Improvement
- Maintain and improve a centralized library of templates, content modules, and graphics.
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline proposal development and enhance quality.
Technology & Tools
- Work across CRM, CMS, content libraries, and project management platforms.
- Leverage tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Illustrator), and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with social media, PR tools, and digital platforms is a plus.
