Job Description

We are looking for energetic and safety-conscious team members to fill the role of Lifeguard at the Trumbull Country Club this season. 

Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Oversee activities at the pool
  • Explain and enforce rules, regulations and policies to ensure safety of members/guests
  • Monitor designated areas to recognize signs of danger
  • Warn swimmers regarding unsafe situations
  • Maintain order in swimming areas
  • Respond to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning
  • Perform first aid procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas
  • Maintain records and reports

 

Job Requirements

  • 16 years of age or older
  • Completion of lifeguard training
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
  • Lifeguard experience preferred
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Physically fit, strong, agile and dexterous
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule
