Job Description

  • Meet with patients to represent the nutritional services department
  • Manage the financials of the account through effective food, labor and supply controls
  • Listen and effectively respond to the needs of the client
  • Identify opportunities to nurture client relationships and grow sales
  • Encourage good customer relations through product promotion
  • Build relationships with other team members within the account
  • Provide outstanding customer service support
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Supervise, coach and direct team members  professionally
  • Follow directions and implement instructions from the Director of Nutrition Services
  • Monitor kitchen logs, complete orders for the operation of the kitchen
  • Routinely conduct kitchen inspections

 

Job Requirements

  • 2  or more years of experience in a supervisory/ lead role position
  • Experience in healthcare food service or a high volume catering environment preferred
  • A results-oriented, articulate, decisive, self-starter who energizes people around him/her
  • Ability to build relationships by actively listening and responding to the client’s needs
  • Adaptable to changing business conditions
  • Comfortable dealing with fast-paced environments
  • Ability to pursue and complete directives with limited supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a healthcare setting focusing on all aspects of the business
